Marisela and her four boys lived in a small apartment, but she dreamed of having a home where her large family could gather for birthdays, holidays, and special moments. With five sisters and six brothers, family has always been at the heart of her life.

Marisela was one of the first participants to attend a My Way Home homebuyer workshop. After 25 years of pursuing homeownership on and off, she finally made her dream a reality and purchased a home in Fillmore. Today, she has a place where she can gather, celebrate, and create memories with the family she loves.
