Through programs like WISH, CalHome, My Home and Hope to Home, we’ve already helped families secure nearly $16 million in assistance, making the dream of homeownership possible for low- and moderate-income buyers.

The City of Camarillo Workforce Program is designed to help local working households purchasing in Camarillo achieve their dream of homeownership. This program is for households earning up to 150% AMI, for example a family of earning less than $196,950. With up to $50,000 in the form of a ten (10) year deferred loan, low-and moderate-income first-time homebuyers can receive the financial support they need to make their homeownership dreams a reality.
These funds can be combined with My Way Home’s other programs to maximize your purchasing power.

My Way Home’s Hope to Home - Bakersfield deferred loan program, in partnership with the City of Bakersfield, can make your dream of homeownership in Bakersfield possible! Low-income households earning up to the 80% Area Median Income (AMI) (for example a family of 4 earning less than $75,100 can get up to $40,000 in assistance towards the purchase of their own home.
These funds can be combined with My Way Home’s other programs to maximize purchasing power.

My Way Home, in collaboration with the City of Oxnard, brings you the newly designed down payment assistance program for low-income households living in Oxnard and purchasing their first home in Oxnard. Eligible and qualified low-income homebuyers earning up to 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI) (for example a family of earning less than $119,750) can access up to $40,000 in the form of a 10-year forgivable grant.
These funds can be combined with My Way Home’s other programs to maximize purchasing power.

My Way Home’s CalHome Deferred loan program, made possible with funding from the California Department of Housing and Community Development, offers up to $40,000 in the form of a 30-year deferred loan for low-income households earning up to 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI).
These funds can be combined with My Way Home’s other programs to maximize purchasing power.

The MyHome Assistance Program and CalPlus with Zip from CalHFA are 30-year deferred-payment loans (with simple interest) that must be paired with a CalHFA first mortgage. They can provide extra support for your down payment or closing costs, 3% to 3.5% with MyHome and 2% to 3% with CalPlus with Zip.
These programs are not just for low-income households—they can also be a great option for moderate- and even higher-income first-time buyers who need a little extra help to get into their home.
These funds can be combined with My Way Home’s other programs to maximize purchasing power.
Households must meet CalHFA’s income limits for the county they are purchasing in.

The Workforce Initiative Subsidy for Homeownership (WISH) made possible with funding from the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco is matching grant program designed to assist low-income households earning up to 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI) with a 4-to-1 matching grants of up to $32,000. The total grant is forgivable after 5 years (20% each year).
These funds can be combined with My Way Home’s other programs to maximize purchasing power.
